If you haven’t ever seen the movie the Bucket List starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman, do yourself a favor and rent it! It’s about 2 terminally ill men who share a hospital room and decide to leave it and do all the things they have ever wanted to do before they die according to their bucket list.
To start a bucket list is very easy. Just sit down in a quiet place with a pad of paper and pen and begin to make a list of things you would like to do, places you want to go and people you would like to meet before you leave this earth. It is amazing once you start a bucket list how you will find the universe responding and making these things happen. Keep adding to your list as new ideas come up and be sure to check off the things you have accomplished. I promise you, this will change your life!
Here is an idea of what a bucket list looks like, to help you get started:
SHARON’S BUCKET LIST
Learn to snow ski (have been doing this since I was a kid)
Learn to water ski (have been doing this since about age 13 when my uncle taught me)
Learn to water ski on one ski (if the boys could do it, so could I! I was about 18)
Attend a Tony Robbins seminar and participate in a firewalk (I attended Awaken The Giant Within in my early 30’s all by myself and it was absolutely fabulous! Plus, the firewalk was life changing for me).
Travel to Japan
Write a best selling book
Start a blog (2015-2016)
Feed the homeless (another life-changing experience that I did in my 40’s with my sister and a close friend)
Visit the Opryland Hotel (Have been there twice, in my 30’s and my 40’s)
Ride a motorcycle (in my teens, twenties and 30’s)
Get my motorcycle license
Attend a Luke Bryan concert (2014)
Attend an Elton John concert (2015)
Go paragliding
Learn to paint
Swim with the dolphins (did this with my daughter in my 40’s)
Have children (had a daughter in my 20’s and son in my 30’s. Proud Momma)
Own a truck (have owned 3)
Live at the beach
Travel to Greece
Own my own motor home (have owned a camper, fifth wheel and C-class. (The C-class I drove myself when my kids and I went travelling)
Fly by private jet to the Bahamas (in my 30’s went to Abaco)
Become a multi-billionaire
Become physically fit and reach my ideal weight for my body size (a work in progress)
Travel around Sardenia, Italy by private yacht (in my 30’s when I was 5 months pregnant with my son)
Visit the Virgin Islands (have been to St. Thomas and St. John several times)
Go on a cruise (have been on several)
Sing in front of a large audience
Meditate in India
Meet Donald Trump
Meet Tyler Perry
Meet Oprah Winfrey
Meet Louise Hay
Meet Luke Bryan (I love Lukie!)
Buy a vehicle (have purchased 12)
Buy a home (have purchased 6)
Build a new home (have built 2)
Become an entrepeneur (ongoing since my 30’s)

Visit Disney World in Florida (have been many times but love Christmas time the best!)

Learn how to paint a house (2000)
Travel the world and be an inspiration to others; experience local life wherever I go; taste the different foods offered and make new friends. 😆
As you can see my Bucket List is ongoing. As each day passes, I will continue to add to it.
