YES, I AM HAPPY TO SHARE WITH YOU ALL THAT TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY. 😛
53 years ago today I exploded into this world! Â I was a very tiny baby and looked like I had been beaten up. Â (No, I will not be sharing any pictures)
My mother tells that I was like a baby bird. Â She would put one spoonful of food into my mouth and before she could refill it my mouth was open wide waiting impatiently and hollering for the next bite of food. Â (I am happy to report that I no longer eat that way, thank goodness
)
What’s that you say?  “You don’t look a day over 35”.  Aww, thank you so much for your kind words. 🙂
As I think ahead to what beautiful precious moments this year will bring, I am reminded that my father will turn 80 next month, in May my beautiful daughter will turn 25 and my handsome son will graduate from high school and go off to college in the fall. WOW!
Realizing as I get older that time goes by very fast, I have learned to enjoy each and every day to its fullest. Â I feel with each passing year I have gained wisdom and learned from the mistakes I have made.
I am excited to see what the future will hold. Â More travelling, more trips to see my daughter, son-in-law and grand doggy and many trips to see my son at college, along with many more blog posts to share with all of you. Â (And let’s not forget many trips to the beach)
I am truly blessed to have lived these amazing 53 years, to know the things I now know, to feel comfortable in my own skin, to share my love and joy with the world and my arms are wide open ready to embrace the exciting future.
Cheers to you today on this beautiful day.  Love every minute of it.  I plan to. 😎
xoxo  Sharon

It’s a brand new year! Â Yahoo! Â Welcome 2017!
Today was an interesting day. As I came home from work with my arms full, I proceeded to put a couple of bottles of water into the fridge, while holding a stack of books and papers and my cell phone. One of the bottles of water tipped over in the fridge and as I went to straighten it up my bundle slipped and up went my cell phone into the air and straight down onto the concrete floor in the garage.
Every morning, while I drink my coffee, tea or lemon water, before I head off to work, I love to watch, listen to or read something that inspires me. Â I have found that it really makes a difference in how the rest of my day goes.
I honestly have to say, I have always been someone who reached their goals, achieved what she wanted and was an example to others. Â Why now, was this fear coming over me? Â I knew I had to work through it.
