I AM NOW WILLING TO SEE THE MAGNIFICENCE OF ME

I AM NOW WILLING TO SEE THE MAGNIFICENCE OF ME

I now choose to eliminate from my mind and life every negative, destructive, fearful idea and thought that would keep me from being the magnificent woman that I am meant to be.  I now stand up on my own two feet, and support myself and think for myself.  I give myself what I need.  It is safe for me to grow.  The more I fulfill myself, the more people love me.  I join the ranks of women healing other women.  I am a blessing to the planet.  My future is bright and beautiful.  And so it is!

(Excerpt from Louise L. Hay’s book  LIFE!:  Reflections On Your Journey)

WHAT IF?

WHAT IF?

What if I told you I was your biggest fan?  What if I told you the struggles you are going through are temporary and that everything will be okay?  What if I told you how much I care for you and that I am so thankful for having you in my life?  What if I told you that YOU matter?  What if I told you that you bring happiness to someone in your life?  What if I told you that each day you are here on this earth you are leaving a legacy for those who will live after you?  What if I told you I love you?  Not for what you do but just because of who you are?  Well, my love, this is me telling you that all of these things are true.

From this day forward, wake up each day and live like it is your last.  You matter.  You are awesome and you are loved. 😛

When We Start To Realize Our Self Worth, We Stop Attracting Those Who Don’t

When We Start To Realize Our Self Worth, We Stop Attracting Those Who Don’t

They were together a total of 10 years.  The relationship started out so wonderful.  Or did it? The constant calls and attention she received made her feel so loved and increased her self worth.  Or did they?  Married 3 times in the past, she was the one to end all of the relationships.  You could say, she was in charge. HONORING LOUISE HAY’S LIFE

HONORING LOUISE HAY’S LIFE

October 8, 1926 – August 30, 2017

Today I would like to take a few moments in honoring Louise Hay’s life.  There are a handful of people in my life that I truly admire and who have truly changed my life for the better and I can honestly say that Louise Hay http://louisehay.com was one of them.

We first met (well, not actually in person 😉 ) years ago when I began listening to self-help cassettes.  Her words impacted me so much that I wanted more.  So, I went out in search of books she had written and I immersed myself into her words and teachings. Continue reading

IT’S ALL ABOUT MAMA TODAY

I’m a little late getting this post out of my adventure with Mama.  I figure, hey better late than never! (Actually I have had it saved to draft for a few months but just hadn’t shared it with you yet.)  So, let’s just pretend today is Mother’s Day and you are reading this.   😆

So, I asked Mama what she would like to do on this very special day of the year and the next thing I knew out of my mouth came “How about blueberry picking?” To that, she responded “Oh, that’s a great idea!” Continue reading

GUESS WHO IS HAVING A BIRTHDAY TODAY

YES, I AM HAPPY TO SHARE WITH YOU ALL THAT TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY. 😛

53 years ago today I exploded into this world!  I was a very tiny baby and looked like I had been beaten up.  (No, I will not be sharing any pictures)

My mother tells that I was like a baby bird.  She would put one spoonful of food into my mouth and before she could refill it my mouth was open wide waiting impatiently and hollering for the next bite of food.  (I am happy to report that I no longer eat that way, thank goodness  )

What’s that you say?  “You don’t look a day over 35”.  Aww, thank you so much for your kind words. 🙂

As I think ahead to what beautiful precious moments this year will bring, I am reminded that my father will turn 80 next month, in May my beautiful daughter will turn 25 and my handsome son will graduate from high school and go off to college in the fall. WOW!

Realizing as I get older that time goes by very fast, I have learned to enjoy each and every day to its fullest.  I feel with each passing year I have gained wisdom and learned from the mistakes I have made.

I am excited to see what the future will hold.  More travelling, more trips to see my daughter, son-in-law and grand doggy and many trips to see my son at college, along with many more blog posts to share with all of you.  (And let’s not forget many trips to the beach)

I am truly blessed to have lived these amazing 53 years, to know the things I now know, to feel comfortable in my own skin, to share my love and joy with the world and my arms are wide open ready to embrace the exciting future.

Cheers to you today on this beautiful day.  Love every minute of it.  I plan to. 😎
